once youve extracted the brushes, copy them and moce them to the C:/program files/ GIMP-2.0/share/gimp/2.0/brushes

Or just exract them there originally.

Download one of the frotn page ones and they should have a read me that will tell you how to install them properly pm me if you cant figure it out.

The bevel, i downloaded a Gimp plug in pack .

Go on the GIMP official website and search for bevels or other effects, remember to unzip in .rar files and read the readmes

sirry looksl ike you figured it out, on the layer dialogue just move the opacity slider
